FINANCIAL SERVICES
Ongoing IT support and security for mortgage brokers, insurance brokers and financial advisers. We look after your systems day to day and help your team protect confidential client information, from our base in Hurdlestown, Co. Meath, since 1985.
One person knows how everything is set up. When they’re away, small problems wait.
Bank details and signed documents arrive by email every day, making advisory firms a target for fake payment requests.
Many firms have a backup. Fewer have tried restoring a mailbox or client folder to check that it works.
Insurers and product providers ask how you protect client data. That’s hard to answer when nothing is written down.
Multi-factor sign-in, access permissions matched to each person’s role, and shared mailboxes and folders that make sense. On both packages, we back up Microsoft 365 email, OneDrive and SharePoint.
On Gold: email security to filter phishing and spam, alerts if staff passwords appear in known data leaks, and phishing awareness training that helps staff spot suspicious messages.
Monitoring, operating system updates, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response to help spot and contain threats on the devices we manage.
Microsoft 365 backup (email, OneDrive and SharePoint) on both packages, with device and server backup available and scoped in your proposal. We test restores every two weeks.
The broker and adviser software, online portals and cloud tools you already use. We work alongside your software vendors when something needs their input.
Reliable office Wi-Fi, a separate guest network, and secure access for staff working from home.
Your obligations depend on how your firm is authorised and can include Central Bank guidance on IT risk, outsourcing and operational resilience, as well as GDPR. Your compliance adviser confirms what applies. On the IT side, we provide:
We’re an IT support company, not a compliance firm, and we don’t give legal or regulatory advice.
From €70
per user/month, excluding VAT
From €45
per user/month, excluding VAT
You can mix the two, with Gold for most staff and Silver for lighter users. Microsoft 365 licences are charged separately and are not included in either package.
Based in Hurdlestown, Co. Meath, our team combines everyday IT support, ongoing security reviews and practical planning. You’ll know who looks after your systems and who to contact when you need help.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. After-hours emergency support is available at an extra cost, via a dedicated mobile number and email.
Included in Gold and separate from the helpdesk: our security monitoring partner watches for threats around the clock.
We learn how your firm works, the software you rely on and how your systems are set up.
We look at sign-in security, email, backups and suppliers, and agree with you what matters most.
You get a written proposal: the improvements we recommend, the right package for each person, and any setup work quoted upfront.
As your firm changes, we review your security and plan for new staff and software with you.
No. Microsoft 365 licences are charged separately. Gold includes Microsoft 365 admin and support, so we can manage your licences and setup for you.
Yes. We look after the computers, accounts and network your software runs on, and we work with your software vendors when something needs their input.
Yes. We set up multi-factor sign-in, keep laptops monitored and updated wherever they are, and help your team share client files through Microsoft 365 with the right permissions, instead of email attachments or USB keys.
We plan the move with you and, where possible, work with your current provider so accounts, passwords and records are handed over properly. You get a written quote, including any setup, before anything starts.
Both packages include backup of Microsoft 365 email, OneDrive and SharePoint. Device and server backup is available and scoped in your proposal, so you know what’s covered before you sign. We test restores every two weeks, and you can request copies of the records.
It depends on how your firm is authorised. DORA, the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act, applies to listed types of financial entity. Insurance intermediaries that are micro, small or medium-sized enterprises are excluded. Investment intermediaries that rely on the MiFID exemption for smaller advisers are also excluded, and mortgage credit intermediaries aren’t on DORA’s list of entity types. Many firms hold more than one authorisation, so please check your position with your compliance adviser. Where DORA doesn’t apply, the Central Bank still encourages firms to use it as a benchmark.
Tell us how your firm works today. We’ll help you identify practical next steps for your IT support and security.
