Ongoing IT support and security for manufacturers and food producers in Meath and North East Leinster. We look after the office IT, PCs and network that sit alongside your production floor, so orders, dispatch and accounts keep moving. Based in Hurdlestown, Kells, Co. Meath, since 1985.
When the office network, a dispatch PC or the server running your ERP or accounts goes down, orders, picking and invoicing stall with it.
PCs on the floor and in dispatch are used by many people across shifts, often with one shared login that nobody changes.
Purchasing and accounts staff are targeted with fake supplier invoices and requests to change bank details, and ransomware can stop the systems your production plan depends on.
Larger customers increasingly ask suppliers how they protect data and systems. That’s hard to answer when nothing is written down.
Individual Microsoft 365 accounts with multi-factor sign-in, permissions matched to each role, and access removed promptly when temporary or agency staff finish.
On Gold: email security, phishing awareness training for office, purchasing and accounts staff, leaked-password alerts and a business password manager.
Monitoring, patching, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response on the office, shop-floor and dispatch PCs and laptops we manage.
Microsoft 365 backup covers email, OneDrive and SharePoint. It doesn’t cover ERP or accounts data on a local server, so we scope device and server backup in your proposal.
We look after the office IT and the PCs and network alongside the production side. For your ERP, production software and equipment, we work alongside your software and equipment suppliers.
Reliable Wi-Fi and networking from the office to the shop floor, warehouse and dispatch, with a separate guest network for visitors and drivers.
Larger customers often send security questionnaires before they add or renew a supplier, asking about backups, access control, updates and incident response. The National Cyber Security Centre’s guidance for small businesses covers basics such as updates, multi-factor authentication and backups, and its business email compromise guidance recommends a strict call-back check for any change to bank details.
Under the EU’s NIS2 Directive, medium and large businesses in certain sectors, including food production and processing and some types of manufacturing such as machinery, electrical equipment, electronics and vehicles, are generally in scope. Small and micro businesses generally aren’t. The NCSC’s NIS2 guidance explains who is covered. If a breach affects personal data, GDPR generally requires you to notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours, unless it’s unlikely to result in a risk to the people concerned. Your professional advisers can confirm what applies to your business. On the IT side, we provide:
We’re an IT support company, not a legal or compliance adviser, and we don’t give legal or regulatory advice.

Based in Hurdlestown, Kells, Co. Meath, our team combines everyday IT support, ongoing security reviews and practical planning. You’ll know who looks after your systems and who to contact when you need help.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. After-hours emergency support is available at an extra cost, via a dedicated mobile number and email.
Included in Gold and separate from the helpdesk: our security operations centre watches for threats around the clock, handles any it detects out of hours and notifies us.
We learn how your business runs from the office to the shop floor and dispatch, which PCs and systems are in use, and where your ERP and accounts data is stored.
We look at accounts and shared logins, shop-floor and dispatch PCs, Wi-Fi coverage, backups and payment-fraud risks, and agree priorities with you.
You get a written proposal: the improvements we recommend, the right package for each person, and any setup work quoted upfront.
As shifts, staff and sites change, we review your security and plan PC replacements and new setups with you.
No. Microsoft 365 licences are charged separately. Gold includes Microsoft 365 admin and support, so we can manage your licences and setup for you.
No. We look after the office IT and the PCs, accounts and network that sit alongside the production side. For machinery, control systems and production software, we work alongside your equipment and software suppliers.
Not if it’s held on a local server or PC. Microsoft 365 backup covers email, OneDrive and SharePoint. Device and server backup is scoped in your proposal, and your software vendor can confirm how their data should be backed up. We test restores every two weeks, and you can request the records.
Where possible, give each person their own login instead of one shared account, with access matched to their role, and remove it as soon as they finish. Where a PC has to be shared, we can help limit what it can reach.
Confirm any request to change bank details by phone, using a number you already hold, before money moves. The National Cyber Security Centre recommends this kind of strict call-back check. Gold adds email security, phishing awareness training and leaked-password alerts.
Enterprise Ireland offers a Cyber Security Review grant to eligible client companies with an assigned Client Advisor. It part-funds a fixed-price review by an independent cyber security expert. Your Client Advisor can confirm whether you qualify.
