Ongoing IT support and security for hauliers, couriers, distribution and warehousing firms in Meath and North East Leinster. We look after depot and office PCs, networks, and the accounts your drivers and staff use on phones and tablets. Based in Hurdlestown, Kells, Co. Meath, since 1985.
Yard and dispatch offices often open before the working day starts and close after it ends. A PC or connection that fails then can hold up loads, drivers and deliveries.
Drivers and mobile staff use phones and tablets for email, job details and paperwork away from the depot. A lost or unprotected device can expose company accounts.
Accounts staff handle a steady flow of fuel, supplier and subcontractor invoices, so a fake invoice or an email asking to change bank details is easy to miss.
Busy periods bring agency and seasonal staff who need access quickly. Accounts that aren’t removed when they leave stay open long after they’re needed.
Individual Microsoft 365 accounts with multi-factor sign-in, including on drivers’ phones and tablets, access matched to each role, and removed promptly when someone leaves or a device goes missing.
On Gold: email security, phishing awareness training for accounts and transport office staff, leaked-password alerts and a business password manager.
Monitoring, patching, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response on the depot, office and dispatch PCs and laptops we manage.
Microsoft 365 backup covers email, OneDrive and SharePoint. It doesn’t cover transport-management or accounts data on a local server or PC, so we scope device and server backup in your proposal.
We look after the PCs, network and accounts your software runs on. For your transport-management, accounts and other business software, we work alongside your software vendors when something needs their input.
Reliable networking and Wi-Fi across yard offices, warehouses and head office, with links between sites so each depot can reach the systems it needs, and a separate guest network for visiting drivers.
Retailers, manufacturers and other customers often send security questionnaires before they award or renew a contract, asking about backups, access control, updates and incident response. The National Cyber Security Centre’s guidance for small businesses covers basics such as updates, multi-factor authentication and backups, and its business email compromise guidance recommends verifying any change to bank details by phone, using known contacts.
Under the EU’s NIS2 Directive, the transport sector covers air, rail and water transport and, on the roads, road authorities and intelligent transport system operators, rather than road hauliers in general. Postal and courier services are covered separately. In both cases, medium and large businesses are generally in scope and small and micro businesses generally aren’t. The NCSC’s NIS2 guidance explains who is covered. If a breach affects personal data, GDPR generally requires you to notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours, unless it’s unlikely to result in a risk to the people concerned. Your professional advisers can confirm what applies to your business. On the IT side, we provide:
We’re an IT support company, not a legal or compliance adviser, and we don’t give legal or regulatory advice.

A recent Google review from a transport and logistics firm we support.
We learn how your business runs across depots, yards and offices, which PCs, phones and tablets are in use, and where your transport and accounts data is stored.
We look at accounts for drivers and agency staff, dispatch PCs, mobile devices, links between sites, backups and payment-fraud risks, and agree priorities with you.
You get a written proposal: the improvements we recommend, the right package for each person, and any setup work quoted upfront.
As sites, staff and busy seasons change, we review your security and plan PC replacements and new setups with you.
No. Microsoft 365 licences are charged separately. Gold includes Microsoft 365 admin and support, so we can manage your licences and setup for you.
Our helpdesk is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. After-hours emergency support is available at an extra cost, via a dedicated mobile number and email. Gold also includes 24/7 security monitoring by our security operations centre, which handles threats detected out of hours and notifies us. This is separate from helpdesk support.
No. We look after the depot and office IT, and the PCs, network and accounts around it, including the accounts staff use on phones and tablets. For vehicle and in-cab systems, your equipment and software suppliers remain your point of contact.
Not if it’s held on a local server or PC. Microsoft 365 backup covers email, OneDrive and SharePoint. Device and server backup is scoped in your proposal, and your software vendor can confirm how their data should be backed up. We test restores every two weeks, and you can request the records.
Give each person their own login instead of a shared one, with access limited to what their role needs, and remove it when they finish. We can set up and remove accounts as people start and leave.
Confirm any request to change bank details by phone, using a number you already hold, before money moves, and check unexpected invoices against your orders. The National Cyber Security Centre recommends this kind of strict call-back check. Gold adds email security, phishing awareness training and leaked-password alerts.
