SOLICITORS & LAW FIRMS
Ongoing IT support and security for solicitors’ practices in Meath and North East Leinster. We keep case files, email and systems running day to day and help you protect confidential client information, from our base in Hurdlestown, Co. Meath, since 1985.
Criminals spoof or break into email accounts to change bank details before a closing or a transfer of client money. It often looks like a routine message from someone you know.
Case documents end up in inboxes, personal folders and USB keys, which makes it hard to say who can see a client’s file.
A locked account or a failed laptop on the morning of a closing or a court date costs far more than the time it takes to fix.
Practices keep files for years. Few have tried restoring an old matter or a former colleague’s mailbox to check it’s really there.
Multi-factor sign-in, and permissions set by role so partners, fee earners and support staff each see the files they need. On both packages, we back up Microsoft 365 email, OneDrive and SharePoint.
On Gold: email security to filter phishing and spam, alerts if staff passwords appear in known data leaks, and phishing awareness training that helps staff spot fake payment requests.
Monitoring, patching, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response on the devices we manage, whether they’re in the office, at home or at court.
Microsoft 365 backup (email, OneDrive and SharePoint) on both packages, with device and server backup scoped in your proposal. We test restores every two weeks and you can request the records.
The case management, legal accounts and dictation software you already use, plus the online portals you file through. We work with your software vendors when something needs their input.
Reliable office Wi-Fi, a separate guest network for clients waiting in reception, and secure access for staff working from home.
The Law Society’s practice notes warn about email fraud and advise checking any emailed bank details by phone. The Society has also made clear that a client account deficit caused by cybercrime remains the responsibility of the partners or principal.
Under GDPR, a personal data breach that poses a risk to people generally has to be reported to the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours. Your own advisers confirm what applies to your practice. On the IT side, we provide:
We’re an IT support company, not a law firm or compliance adviser, and we don’t give legal or regulatory advice.

per user/month, excluding VAT
From €45
per user/month, excluding VAT
You can mix the two, with Gold for most staff and Silver for lighter users. Microsoft 365 licences are charged separately and are not included in either package.

Included in Gold and separate from the helpdesk: our security monitoring partner watches for threats around the clock.
We learn how your practice works, the software you rely on, who handles client money and where files are kept.
We look at sign-in security, email and payment-fraud risks, backups and suppliers, and agree with you what matters most.
You get a written proposal: the improvements we recommend, the right package for each person, and any setup work quoted upfront.
As your practice changes, we review your security and plan for new staff, offices and software with you.
No. Microsoft 365 licences are charged separately. Gold includes Microsoft 365 admin and support, so we can manage your licences and setup for you.
Yes. We look after the computers, accounts and network your software runs on, and we work with your software vendors on updates, access and problems that need their input.
This kind of fraud usually starts with a spoofed or compromised mailbox. We set up multi-factor sign-in on Microsoft 365, and Gold adds email security, phishing awareness training and alerts if staff passwords appear in known data leaks. Your own procedures matter just as much: the Law Society advises confirming any emailed bank details by phone, using a number you already hold.
Yes. We set up multi-factor sign-in, keep laptops monitored and patched wherever they are, and help your team share client files through Microsoft 365 with the right permissions, instead of email attachments or USB keys.
Both packages include backup of Microsoft 365 email, OneDrive and SharePoint. Device and server backup is scoped in your proposal, so you know what’s covered before you sign. We test restores every two weeks, and you can request the records if an insurer or client asks.
It depends on what happened. If personal data is affected, GDPR generally requires you to notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, unless it’s unlikely to result in a risk to the people concerned. Your professional advisers and insurer can confirm what else applies to your practice.
